The peachwood has a nice, natural weight to it that makes it feel substantial when I hold it up to check the placement. We hung this on the wall where the house cuts inward, and the peachwood feels substantial and warm in hand, not flimsy like some decor pieces. It's been up for a month now, and the carving still looks crisp, which gives me a sense of grounding every time I walk past that corner.
