Learn how to place and use the 2026 Tai Sui Plaque to appease the Grand Duke Jupiter and protect against misfortune, legal disputes, and obstacles in the Fire Horse year.
Quick answer
The 2026 Tai Sui Plaque should be placed in the South sector of your home or office to appease the Grand Duke Jupiter of the Fire Horse year and protect against misfortune, legal disputes, and obstacles.
Why the South sector matters for 2026
Each year, the Grand Duke Jupiter (Tai Sui) occupies a specific direction. In 2026, the Fire Horse year, Tai Sui resides in the South. Placing the plaque in this sector aligns with ancient Feng Shui wisdom to neutralize negative energy and invite blessings.
Trade-offs: Plaque placement vs. personal birth sign
While the South sector is the general recommendation, individuals born in the Year of the Horse (especially Fire Horse years) may need extra caution. The plaque does not replace personal Feng Shui consultations but serves as a general protective cure. If you have strong personal conflicts with Tai Sui, consider combining the plaque with other remedies like a Pi Xiu or Wu Lou.
Decision rules for using the 2026 Tai Sui Plaque
- Placement sector: Place the plaque in the South sector of your home, office, or altar. Avoid the North (opposite direction) as it can offend Tai Sui. Check your compass or use a Feng Shui app to confirm the South sector.
- Height and orientation: Mount the plaque at eye level or higher, facing outward (toward the room). Do not place it on the floor or behind furniture. Ensure it is visible and unobstructed.
- When to install: Ideally install before the Lunar New Year (early February 2026) or during an auspicious date. Avoid moving it after installation. Set a calendar reminder for early February.
- Who should use it: Anyone born under the Horse, Rat, or Rooster signs may be especially affected by Tai Sui in 2026. The plaque is also beneficial for homes or offices in the South-facing direction. Check your Chinese zodiac sign for personal conflict.
